DJ Unk: A Brief Biography

Hey guys! So, have you ever heard of DJ Unk? He's a rapper from Atlanta who became super popular back in the mid-2000s. Let me tell you a little bit about him!

Rise to Fame

DJ Unk burst onto the music scene with his hit song "Walk It Out" in 2006. This song was everywhere and even had remixes with famous artists like Andre 3000 and Jim Jones. He followed up this success with another banger called "2 Step" in 2007.

Health Struggles

In 2009, DJ Unk had a scary moment when he reportedly had a heart attack at only 27 years old. He later revealed that his health issues were due to not eating right and not taking care of himself. He realized he needed to get healthy for himself, his kids, and his wife.

Recent Work

After taking some time off, DJ Unk came back in 2023 with a new track called "Show Out." He even performed at the Hip Hop 50 Tribute at the 2023 BET Awards. Pretty cool, right.
