        Mix Master Ken, grew up in the sunny streets of Compton Djing mixtapes – his late mom, and his family always supported his love for music, even when his mixtape was not doing what he wanted them to do.

Ken's journey into the world of music was at a young age .He spent hours mixing records in his room, creating melodies that made people nod their heads.


     Mix Master Ken's big break came when he dropped his debut feat. radio song with rapper name Toddy Tee on song call Batteram at the time under EPIC RECORDS. The crowd went wild The song portrays the frustration and resistance faced by residents during these raid, and word spread faster than a rumor in high school. Mix Master Ken was officially on the map he was officially apart of the 80s hit music scene. With Mixmaster ken voice on the hook saying Batterram really gave the song that different/ that raw street sound, a fresh voice from the west coast. Once again black history for the books was made.



       

   Mix Master ken got the streets listening when he drops the song, I Bumped Your Head a diss to the late Mix Master Spade In real life Spade and Ken were good friends at the end of the day it was just music not like the rap beef of the 20th century, guns are pulled, and lives are lost. 

       Mix Master Ken has put an incredible mark on West Coast rap with his distinct style. His influence can be felt in the work of many aspiring artists in today's rap.
