Celebrity photographer Matthew Jordan Smith shared a funny story about the time he asked Aretha who her favorite new artist was. Instead of naming someone else, she confidently replied, "Me!"

Smith is releasing a photo book called "Aretha Cool" in honor of the legendary singer. He recalls how Aretha would often sing along to her own songs during photoshoots, showing her love for her own music.
Never Tired of Her Playlist

Smith photographed Aretha up until her passing in 2018, always playing the same songs during their sessions. Aretha never got tired of hearing her own music, showing just how much she appreciated her own talent.

  California Court Reverses Murder Conviction Due to Rap Video Evidence A Gang Member's Conviction Overturned A state appellate court has overturned the murder conviction of a San Bernardino gang member involved in a 2014 drive-by shooting.
